On May 15, we celebrate International Family Day, which was declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 1993. The theme of this year's International Family Day is "Gender equality and the rights of the child in the modern family".
Today, many families are in a very difficult financial and material situation. Parents take too little time for each other and consequently also for the child. Misunderstanding, non-acceptance, disrespect and infidelity give birth to suffering and disputes, illness and old age bring their own problems. But we have to learn to overcome them. And the family is the unit that together overcomes lack and fear of the future. With love and life optimism and in the joys that our children bring, we find strength and a source of hope for both our society and the country.
