Conquerors of festival corners around the world... You are tempted to conquer all corners of the world like adventurers in novels... to be part of great events, but above all part of society, people, travelers, artists, like-minded people who for a short time merge into an opaque crowd of various speaking people, and with the same goal, which follows the tendency to see, hear, taste, know, learn, discover and, last but not least, experience something that would take us like a dream to another world.
The right one festival goers they already know what I'm talking about, maybe they would add a word or two more themselves, but in the end there will still be only one word, which is called "friendship". The crowd that flocks to festival events, (does not) think about political affiliation, religious orientation, is not racist, even less xenophobic, is open, playful, childishly curious, carefree, dreamy, independent, but still manageable, but only when led music, art, play, literature, science, cuisine, celebration... Every country can boast of countless festivals, it's the same here, we just have to decide where our festival march will take us this time. There are many possibilities, number of unique artists for all the gourmets that grow, as well festival "disciplines", who want us to discover our talents. And what can remain unknown to us, great festival conquerors, whose festival spirit is already getting under our skin...? Every year, every festival is a complete stranger to itself, even if we have been somewhere before, it keeps pulling us back and it's always different - atmosphere, people, weather, stage lights, stage, performers... Even on film festival in Cannes, France invites us again with an official poster Ingrid Bergman, this time without company Cary Grant, and this year's festival will also be completely different from the one from twenty-two years ago. In any case, the red thread of the festival remains, and it is the intertwining of man, his mask, his play or its interpretation, embedded in the reflection of current social conditions. But something will always remain as a stereotype: that big festivals with an indescribable sound are intended for a crowd of fans electronic music, that metal festivals are full of always kind and even gentler metal men, who are probably more emotional than female visitors who are inspired by flower festivals, that the biggest "gobblers" tend to visit the culinary festival and good wine drops, that chocolate festivals are rather than the children, their mothers attend... It doesn't matter, stereotypes up or down, rock festivals will still host charismatic and eccentric rock "super-old men", their "groupies" will increase the age difference every year, and for us, ordinary mortals, the passion from the stage will be completed by the stars in the sky, rain cape in the backpack, sunglasses on the nose, hair, dirty pants, hat on head, thumbs up and miles traveled. Now let's quickly, as our report says, unfold festival map, because the path to discovering new festival horizons can be hot and long.
