A legend of alternative music Nick Cave considered one of the most fascinating and enigmatic figures in music and film world. A documentary titled "20,000 Days on Earth" it only enhances its mystique. This innovative drama/documentary intimately depicts his artistic creation process and the fictional narrative of his 20 thousand days on Earth. The film tells two stories. The first is cinematic portrait of nick cave, created through various staged scenes, as there is no written script. Another story has a deep insight into the creativity of his work, from writing, recording, rehearsals to the final performance.
This unique blend of documentary essay and film fiction demonstrates the connection between artist and filmmakers, visual artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard. The idea of a documentary film arose from the need to shoot a music video, and his first such autobiographical product was created.
