20. ARGONAUT DAYS and NIGHT ON THE SUMMIT 2012
From June 8 to 17, 2012, they will take place on Vrhnika for the twentieth time Argonaut days. We will officially open the traditional and jubilee festival event with the Simfonika orchestra and MePZ Mavrica on Friday, June 8 at 9:30 p.m. in the Vrhnika Sports Park.
It will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2012, from 6:30 p.m. onwards A night on Vrhnika, one of the most established and popular music and entertainment events in this part of Slovenia, this year already the twelfth, which year after year has attracted famous musical names from Slovenia and abroad to the big stage. It also provides a diverse musical program this year. Good entertainment until the morning hours will be provided by: Prljavo kazalište, Kingston, Zlatan Čordić-Zlatko, Boštjan Konečnik, Nika Zorjan, Duble Truble, DJ Drago-N, ... There is no entrance fee!
On Sunday, June 10, at 9:00 p.m., you are invited to bursts of laughter with renowned Slovenian comedians at Sodnjiska trg. Next weekend on the night of Dionysus: Food festival, folk and arts and crafts fair, songs and dances of the twin cities, from 4:00 p.m. on Stara cesta and the garden of Hotel Mantova. Folkloric groups and choirs from Vrhnika and the twin cities will provide an introduction to the "busy" night. After the songs and dances, the celebration will continue with the Dionysus Night, with performances by: Duo Ajda, Heaven X, Pomlad and Vlado Pilja (former Lepi Dasa). Thus, the top caterers will once again provide complete entertainment with the slogan: "Food and drink for the young and the young at heart!"
We invite families and children to A magical Argonaut day, from 9:00 a.m., to Sports Park Vrhnika. A day in which every member of the family will be able to find something for themselves. A day that will pass too quickly for curious children; a day that will have parents asking when the next one will be before the end! In this spirit, we will offer: children's bicycle marathon "Argonaut", shows for children, dance workshops, presentations of various Vrhni and surrounding societies and activities, "Dads' Run", inflatable games, a children's train, an exhibition of many electric vehicles and more and more.
