Next weekend, Ljubljana will be the venue for the birthday party of the Ljubljana scouts, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. On April 23, 2016, the 20th Camp Festival will take place in Tivoli, in the evening in Križanke, Mi2, Vlado Kreslin and Kazenski vod will perform, and on April 24, we will be able to cheer for the teams that will compete in the urban challenge. And what is the best? Everyone is welcome, even non-campers!
It's time again Camp festival! City Union of Cub Scouts Ljubljana this year celebrates its 20th anniversary. For several years, scouting has offered young people a place where they can discover their potential through activities in nature and shape their personalities into active adults. between April 22 and 24 unforgettable in Ljubljana and that everyone is invited, even those who are not campers.
On April 23, Tivoli in Ljubljana will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. 20. Camp festival. The program, which announces more than 40 fun, sports and green workshops for children and young people, promises us that the festival will really be a "festival". Children (and children at heart) will be able to compete in field hockey, climb on a giant swing and deal with catapults, and the Slovenian army, police, rescue station and others will also present themselves at the workshops. Since Ljubljana is the green capital of Europe this year, the campers promise us that this year's event will be especially green.

On April 23, fans of good music, entertainment and dancing will also come to their account. At 8 p.m., Ljubljana's Križanka will begin to resonate with the sounds of Styrian rockers Mi2 (who just celebrated 20 years last year), legendary Government Kreslin (because we all get giddy from good music when Kreslin plays Od vishine se zvrti) and the most popular scout band Criminal Division (in which all possible musical instruments are played: from classical guitar to saxophone and trombone). Tickets for the concert are already on sale at Eventim, and the price is 16 euros.
On the last day of the birthday weekend, i.e. Sunday, April 24, the campers will compete in an adrenaline-sports Urban challenge. 30 physical and mental challenges will put more than 50 competing teams into motion, which will compete, among other things, in the pillar of courage, in walking along the Ljubljanica, in a race against time, on the foggy training ground and in rescue from a vehicle. The tense competition on the streets of Ljubljana, in the parks, on the hills and on the banks of the rivers will be a feast for the eyes of all of us who will come to cheer.
