The Olympic discipline "skeleton" is a winter sport where the competitor slides head first on a prescribed sled as fast as possible along an icy track. Due to the reclining position with the head in the foreground, the helmet is an extremely important piece of protective equipment, as well as the most visible.
That's why the Canadian national team decided to present their uniquely painted helmets at the Olympics in Sochi.
