The new Citroën Berlingo was introduced, introducing the style of Citroën's Cactus to the world of family vans. Everything about the third-generation Berlingo was completely redesigned and significantly differs from its predecessor in terms of design, technology, platform and more.
The main difference you will notice among the first is higher and shorter front overhang. Add to that the further shifted windshield and the image of the new one Citroën Berlingo is already significantly different from the previous version. The Berlingo also now has the door protection previously seen on the Cactus. Engineers managed to reduce the turning circle, and by upgrading the electric power steering, they further increased Berling's agility.
The new Berlingo comes in two different sizes. The shorter M-version measures 4.4 meters and the longer XL 4.75 meters and are available in five or seven seat configurations. Regardless of the size, both models have a completely flat bottom, which greatly facilitates loading. At Citoroën, they claim that the amount of cargo we can transport is the largest in this car class. The shorter version can carry objects measuring in length up to 2.7 meters, and it has 775 liters of luggage space, which is 100 liters more than the previous model. If that's not enough for you, you have more available inside the car 28 other disposal areas, which have a total of 186 liters of space. Even under the ceiling you will be able to find convenient storage areas.
If you need even more space, you will have to choose the longer version of the Berlingo, which has 1,050 liters of luggage space and can transport objects up to 3.05 meters long. V Berlingo XL are available two additional removable seats, which we install on grooves that allow us to move the seats forward or backward by 130 mm.

Both engines will be available 1.2 liter petrol with 110 or 130 horsepower and 1.5 liter diesel engine, which will have 75, 100 or 130 horsepower. Depending on the choice of engine, the transfer will be made via 8-speed automatic transmission or 6-speed manual gearbox. Among the safety devices, you will find an emergency braking system, blind spot monitoring, radar cruise control and many other useful devices. 8-inch infotainment system it is compatible with smartphones, and a system for wireless charging of smartphones can also be built into the Berlinga. We will see the new Berlingo live for the first time on Geneva Motor Show.
