2019 Hyundai Veloster

Hyundai presented the second generation of its Veloster at the International Auto Show in Detroit. The "hatchback" coupe is unusual mainly because it has one longer coupe door on the driver's side and two doors on the passenger's side, as is usually found in cars with a cropped rear. The Hyundai Veloster has a refreshed look, and the most toxic version of the Hyundai Veloster N will also be available.

Appearance Hyundai Veloster it is changed, but not so much that it is no longer recognizable. The shape is still the same, with a slightly different design and slightly larger dimensions. It's a Veloster grown to all dimensions, but not excessively, only by a few centimeters. The headroom has increased, which will be especially useful for passengers in the car. They are next to the doors on the new Veloster distinctly noticeable exhaust pipes, placed in the middle of the rear. These don't just have an aesthetic function, they are functional exhaust pipes. Hyundai also played with the sound of the engine, which is still more attractive.

The Hyundai Veloster has been modified rear suspension. The so-called torsion has been replaced by individual clamping, which contributes to a more comfortable ride. Add to that a more responsive mechanical system and the new Veloster will be much more fun to drive than it has been before. It will be available between engines 2-liter inline 4-cylinder, which now has 147 horsepower, 15 horsepower more than the previous 1.6-liter engine. 1.6 liter turbo engine he will have 201 horsepower, and both engines will be connected to manual 6-speed or 7-speed gearbox with double clutch.

It only has manual available 6-speed gearbox and does not have the option of selecting an automatic, as is possible with the "regular" Veloster. The Veloster N has quite a few visual additions that distinguish it from the more subdued version of the Veloster, and it demonstrates its sportiness with an exclusive blue colorPerformance Blue". These additions are very similar to those already seen on the i30 N. With the Veloster N, Hyundai plans to compete with the Volkswagen Golf GTI, Ford Focus ST, and will also take on the Honda Civic Type R, Ford Focus RS and Volkswagen Golf R.
