Maserati has unveiled its latest masterpiece – the Maserati GT2 Stradale – at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering event as part of Monterey Car Week 2024. This road-ready car is actually an evolution of the Maserati GT2 racer, but with added comfort and adaptations for everyday driving.

GT2 Stradale boasts an improved version of the 3.0-litre V6 Nettuno engine that produces 640 horsepower (471 kW) and 720 Nm of torque. This additional power, which exceeds that of the MC20 model by 10 horsepower, allows the vehicle to reach a speed of only 100 km/h 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of over 322 km/h (200 mph). Maserati has upgraded the turbochargers, exhaust manifolds, and exhaust system to contribute to this extra performance.

Design and Aerodynamics

The GT2 Stradale is designed for optimum aerodynamic efficiency, with a shark nose style front bumper, larger cooling vents and a newly designed engine hood that dissipates hot air. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with a huge rear wing inspired by the GT2 racing car and adjustable according to the driver's needs. The complete aerodynamic package allows the vehicle to generate 500 kg of downforce at a speed of 280 km/h (174 mph), significantly more than the 145 kg generated by the MC20.

Interior and Comfort

The interior of the GT2 Stradale combines racing ergonomics with supreme comfort. It features new carbon sports seats that come in different sizes for optimal fit, a thick steering wheel with integrated shift lights, and the UConnect system that includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Wi-Fi hotspot and a Sonus Faber sound system. Maserati also offers customization options through the Fuoriserie program, which allows the choice of various exclusive colors and materials.
