A few days ago I drove through Vrhnika. As a passenger, I do not have a driving test. ("Say whaaaat?!"). By the way, I don't really feel deprived, I use a bike and a "pedHonda" or, better put, my two legs.
Well, back to the first story. To my right I notice a few people gathering around statue of Ivan Cankar. Then I see a gentleman standing by the statue and reading to those gathered around him. I assume that some work by Cankar. By the way the sheet metal sizzles and there is no hero to turn and stop and join the "crowd" that you can count on the fingers of both hands. I feel sad at the same time. Why? I belong to a generation (or at least I myself am one) that is read. Books, not web portals. I was right book Worm. I was in the library at least three times a week. Voluntarily. There were books my soul food and evening prayer. And to this day I can still say that these books were the best thing that happened in my life. If I may have sometimes frowned, saying, who is going to read this, today I know that this kind of literature had the greatest contribution to personal growth and creativity. And that's why I put it on your heart: make time for a book, hardcover or paperback. You won't regret it.
