Julian Alps: a mountain hut at 2,531 meters where you can sleep for free

We present to you a charming mountain hut in the heart of the Julian Alps, where you can sleep absolutely free.

The mountain hut, in which you can sleep absolutely free, can be found at 2531 meters high peak of an Italian mountain A spike under the nose (Foronon del Buinz). The construction of the hut, which serves as a pleasant refuge and is built in the form of a chapel, was organized by the parents of the deceased alpinist Luce Vuerich. Due to the high altitude, this was not easy, as the workers transported the construction material to the top of the mountain by helicopter. In addition to professional builders, Luca's friends also participated in the construction of the 16 square meter cottage, which took only one day.
