Fed up with the heat but can't afford air conditioning? Don't give up! Here are some innovative, interesting and useful ways to transform a room into a pleasant cool paradise with the help of an ordinary fan.

You need a fan or air conditioner? Summer is here and temperatures are rising. Although you would like to enjoy a pleasantly cool environment, you may not be able to afford expensive air conditioners.

However, there are several creative ways you can use a regular fan to cool a room.

Here are some interesting tricks.

1. Air tunnel with ice

This method harnesses the power of ice to create a cool airflow. Start by placing the fan on one side of the room. Place a container opposite the fan and fill it with ice cubes. It is important that the container is large enough and has an opening at the top through which the fan will push the air. As the fan blows through the ice air tunnel, the cool air will be dispersed throughout the room, creating a pleasant and fresh atmosphere.

2. DIY air conditioner with wet towels

This method is based on the evaporation of water, which creates a cool effect. You need a larger container of water to place in front of the fan. Then take some towels, soak them in water and squeeze them so they are not too wet. Place the towels on top of the fan so the fan rotates and blows through the wet towels. As the air passes through the damp towels, it will cool and create a refreshing airflow in the room.

3. Cooling mist

This method involves using water and a freezer to create a nice cool mist. Start by filling a plastic bottle with water and placing it in the freezer to freeze the water. When the water is frozen, take the bottle out of the freezer, remove the cap and place the bottle on the fan. While the fan is running, spray a fine cool spray of water around the room. When this fine mist touches the skin, it creates a refreshing and cool sensation.
