The beginning of the summer holidays can already be started at the fourth Moon Festival with the Moon and her holiday playfulness, and indulge in the carefree shenanigans of the coming summer until exhaustion. This year's leading activity of the festival is ecology, and the red thread is Luna bere and the book itself, as the city of Ljubljana is the world book capital this year. At the festival, children will enter the land of fairy tales with popular fairy-tale heroes, and in this they will be helped by colorful mascots who can't wait to have fun with them. Children will also have the opportunity to meet Slovenian poets and writers, write their own fairy tale or make a book, watch puppet and drama shows, illustrate and listen to fairy tales. In Luna's fairy-tale city, together with our little up-and-comers, we will also be able to model, cook, sing and dance, make jewelry, sew hats and dresses, draw, paint, design and paint. In case of bad weather, the Moon Festival will take place on June 19 or September 4.
