This extremely successful series has achieved enviable popularity all over the world, and is based on the life dramas and foibles of doctors in a hospital in Seattle. The main character is Meredith Gray, a brilliant surgeon who carries the burden of her famous mother and wants to build a career as a surgeon. 15 seasons have been shown, with 2 more seasons announced. The series won several awards and accolades, including the Golden Globe for Best Series.
