For the 5th FEMF this year, the theme of the program is especially dedicated to children and youth, so the whole family can participate in the festival event.
The festival was founded in memory of the legendary filmmaker Vilk Filač and consists of five program sections. The official program will include this year's excesses of European cinematography, as well as some Mediterranean gems from the Middle East. The purpose of the festival is to bring high-quality European films to Slovenian audiences of all ages.
In addition to the main competition program, the rich program will also include numerous meetings with authors and experts in the field of film and film art, as well as interesting workshops for children and young people. On Saturday, the largest number of filmmakers will gather at the professional meeting, where a discussion will take place on Italian-Slovenian cross-border cooperation within Alpe Adria Audiovisual, from the field of AV production and distribution. The festival will end on October 5 at 7 p.m., with the presence of the star of the successful Jugo film Radeta Šerbedžija and many other interesting guests who will receive prizes for their creativity.
