Since its early days in the late 19th century, the bicycle has changed minimally in its essence in terms of its form, but innovation has been experienced in materials and aesthetic improvements. A book is a work Alex Newson, a cycling enthusiast who is also the current curator of the London Design Museum. Book offers a chronological view of all types of bikes – from A penny-farthing with a front wheel larger than the rear (today entertainers ride similar bikes at some shows) and all the way to the aerodynamic legendary Cinelli Laser.
