Already the sixth Istrian Carnival is inviting Primorska with many interesting events that will take place over the course of eight days. The first event with the fair of used carnival masks starts next week, and the climax of the event will be in the first week of March.
Istrian carnival begins already in mid-February with a fair of used carnival masks, with the opening of a photography exhibition, the first dance in costumes takes place, and visitors are also presented with carnival delicacies. Then everything calms down a bit for a fortnight, and then the multi-day festival begins, which will reach its peak with a carnival procession, children will rejoice with Romano from Kranjčan, the wizard will cheer them up Jole – Cole, a number of other interesting things will be happening. And not just in one place, almost wherever our journey through Istria takes us these days, it will be fun and masquerade. Where else is it better to call spring than right by the sea?
