Thomas Jullien's short film tells the story of the photos of countless Instagram users, united by the immortalization of the same moments.
On a social network Instagram millions of user photos appear daily, often depicting the same scenes, such as famous tourist attractions, sunsets, bike rides, and the day's style of fashion footwear. The French artistic director came up with the idea of creating a comprehensive structure out of all this chaos. Unifying 825 photos different color filters and angles of the same object, he smoothly connected them in almost 2 minutes using the stop-motion technique long film. With this, he managed to create a unified story of Instagram users who tell about a football match in Barcelona, train rides, fireworks and even launching a rocket into space.
It's nothing, another proof that social networks really offer endless opportunities to connect people all over the world.
