In the drama A Beautiful Day to Die, two people confront each other: a mother and a daughter. The first still lives as in her rebellious teenage years, and even thinks exactly the same as she did then. For her, time stopped exactly twenty-five years ago. She is still a "rebel without a reason". The daughter, raised in foster care, is seemingly the opposite of her mother: a boring, colorless person, full of prejudices, accusations and a conformist spirit. However, it gradually turns out that not everything is as it seems at first glance. The work, which received the Šelig Award for the best performance of the festival at the last Slovenian Drama Week, according to the author Vinko Möderndorfer, is not about the punk generation, but is a play about the relationship between two women, which makes the work universal.
