Beryl is anything but an ordinary heifer. First off - Beryl thinks she's a dog, after all she grew up with two puppies. Nevertheless, Sally Webster, the owner of a ranch in Australia, was not prepared for the surprise that the 8-month-old calf had in store for her.
Heifer Beryl has amazing memory, it is very smart and knows exactly where the calves' milk is hidden. But that one day she will be caught in the living room where Beryl is sitting comfortably on the carpet, none of its owners expected.

Beryl, however, is not only smart, but she also clearly knows how to behave. In the living room there was no mess, no objects were crushed either. Beryl apparently "broke into" the house only to sit on the soft carpet in the middle of the living room. As a young calf, she was used to having her own blanket on which she slept every night.
Beryl was born August 2015, and her mother died of complications after childbirth, leaving her only 2 days old. Since then, the Websters have taken care of her, and apparently more than perfectly. Theirs recognize the voice immediately, it also responds immediately. They are especially close to my heart puppies Fred and Wilma, with which she also grew up. They still cuddle together, Beryl washing them regularly with her tongue.
