Skratmobil - a mobile social and cultural platform for children and young people brings a colorful range of activities, the content of which is set according to the specific needs of local communities in Bela Krajina, where the project will also take place. The Leprechaun project will begin on Tuesday, May 26, in Semič (Cultural Center) and will continue until Thursday, October 15, with the conclusion of the large round table.
The Dwarfmobile project will travel from Semič, Črnomlje, to Metlika, and will also visit the Marindol area. He will visit each of the mentioned places 3 times between May and August 2015, where he will conduct commissioned workshops that local partners have chosen based on their own needs. In addition to the ordered workshops, Škratmobil will also offer the permanent contents of the KOMBI program in each location (teaching assistance, career center, info point, storytime hours, entertainment centers, etc.), and it is programmatically included in all key ongoing program blocks of individual locations: Jurjevanje, Semiška ohcet , Črnfest, Week of culture on the square.
The main goal of all activities, thoughtfully planned 30 ordered workshops and a permanent program Dwarfmobile and the organization of a large public round table at the end of the project on October 15, will empower children and youth, as the project will offer children and young people a free program that is lacking at the institutional level, and at the same time connect different generations through competitions, collecting stories, postcards of individual places.
The first part will start on Tuesday, May 26, at 10 a.m. in the Semič Cultural Center with the lecture "Healthy life: what we can do today for a healthier heart and a longer life" and guided physical exercise under the mentorship of dr. Mateje Bedenčič. The workshop will also be accompanied by a permanent KOMBI program.
