On the 15th anniversary of Frank Sinatra's death, A Swingin' Affair, a tribute to Frank Sinatra will take place for all his fans.
It is a full-length concert, a project Grosuplje Big Band with vocalists Boštjan from Carinthia and Blaž Vrbič. At A Swingin' Affair it is actually a tribute to two jubilees. In addition to the 15th anniversary of his death Frank Sinatra also Big Bang Grosuplje celebrates the 15th anniversary of the orchestra.
In honor of both anniversaries, they are preparing a series A Swingin' Affair concerts, which is created in cooperation with the Embassy of the United States of America. The December concerts start in Celje, then move to their native Grosuplje and end this year's tour in Ljubljana.
The all-night concert offers insight into key milestones music legend Frank Sinatra, and the twenty-member orchestra will present his legacy exclusively with acoustic performances. We can expect both well-known Sinatrene hits to extremely rarely performed compositions. The last two performances of this year's concert will be especially romantic, as the tour will change into a Christmas costume, and the subtitle "Christmas Special" has been added to the concert.
