A vision of a futuristic self-sufficient house on stilts

Imagination knows no bounds, and new technologies diligently follow it. If a house on stilts was science fiction years ago, we may soon be able to admire one just like it.

If the house is located in the middle of the Scottish mountains, it is already a fantasy in itself, but if it is still standing on stilts, then ...

It is difficult to find an adjective to describe this super madness of the French visual artist Benoit Challand, who mixed up the visual language Le Corbusier's houses and sculptures Santiago Calatrava. The vision of a futuristic self-sufficient house on stilts was created - perhaps "on stilts" would be a better term. However, although it is a vision, the location of the cottage named Roost House, clear – it will be in Scotland and in the middle of unspoilt nature.

Several floors will grow on stilts, but they will be completely self-sufficient - as Challand claimed, the house with all the new technologies will produce enough energy for its needs and will therefore be completely autonomous. The planned interior is stylishly minimalist and covered in wood. If it is true that those concepts that receive a great response are implemented, then we can be optimistic about the realization of Roost House.
