Quite a lot of water has already passed since the time when we could enjoy the original performance of the music of the legendary band Abba. They were in the 1970s Anni-Frid Lyngstad or Frida, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Agnetha Fältskog founded the group Abba, which went down in music history as one of the most successful pop groups of all time. After the breakup of the group, their music still inspired and had many followers all over the world. This is how the Abba tribute bands appeared, and towards the end of February we will be visited by one of the best bands of its kind in the world, Abba The Show. With some of the original accompanying members of the band Abba, in collaboration with the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Matthew Freeman, known as a top arranger of film music, and with the biggest hits of the best-selling and most famous Swedish band of all time, the band will brighten up our February evening. Camilla Hedrén and Katja Nord came up with the idea of an Abba tribute band already in the late nineties. Since then, they appear on stage as Agnetha and Anni-Frid with the aim of looking as much like them as possible and thus giving the audience the feeling that there is a real, original Abba band on stage, assisted by conductor Matthew Freeman, saxophonist Ulf Andersson, guitarists Janne Schaffer, Lasse Wellander and Finn Sjöberg, bass guitarist Rutger Gunnarsson and drummer Roger Palm, who also worked with members of the original Abba line-up. With a superb performance, costumes and hits such as Dancing Queen, Knowing Me, Knowing You, Take A Chance On Me, Super Trouper, Money, Money, Money, Chiquitita and many others, the group will take us on a musical journey, whose beautiful we will not forget the time.
