The performance will be based on the recreation of some parts of the choreographies of Ramovš's rarely performed opus, together with the novelties of the group's artistic director Tomaž Simetinger, to the sounds of a symphony orchestra, for a folk group with completely non-classical musical accompaniment. A young composer was also invited to participate this year Andrej Makor, which is in arrangement for Crescendo Symphony Orchestra "disguised" ninety minutes of folk music.
The course of the performance, with the harmonization of the music and the gradation of the dance design, which will be based on the interweaving of short choreographies, will symbolically indicate the continuous growth and development of folklore art, as cultivated and created by the Academic Folklore Group of France Marolt. It will also fill part of the sound image of the concert a cappella singing, which will be partly focused on experimental re-creation and search for new sounds of (re)creating this folk singing.
