Adrenaline escape

There we will face a moment when even the bravest have their hearts in their throats and imbue every fiber of our body with adrenaline. Below us, a view will open into the many kilometer deep, into which we will throw ourselves into tandem with an experienced skydiver. Unforgettable adventures will be remembered long after we land safely on solid ground for the fantastic feeling of free fall, acceleration to dizzying speed and the relativity of time and space. We will wish for more, but what if we are just at the beginning of a day of unusual tests, so let's say goodbye to the team and continue our journey to the Slovenian pearl, Bled, which is given its shine by a lake of tectonic origin up to 2120 m long and 1380 m wide. Anchored on it is the island of Bled, covered with greenery, with a nice church in the middle and a wishing bell, which was made in Padua in 1534, and today attracts many tourists to the island. We, too, drive to the island with the Bled boat for 10 euros, ring the bell to make our hidden wish come true, row back and move from the boat to a different vehicle. It is also wheelless and shell-shaped, but its speed is unmatched. Don't believe it? We can make sure of this when we will speed along the 520 m long track at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour on a sled, and we will feel its power even in our bones. The starting point for the summer sledding is on the Straža ski resort near Bled, where on warmer days, for 4.17 euros for adults or 2.50 euros for children, they offer a different adrenaline pleasure every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A sweet test
And then boldly move forward. The next test that awaits us is less demanding and has a sweet aftertaste. Wondering what it could be? We will face the true heroine of Bled, the well-known Bled cream slice, which will be served to us in Kavarna Park, open every day from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. While relaxing on their terrace with a beautiful view of the lake, we will fight the temptation to order at least one more. But let's not let ourselves be seduced by its delicious charms, even though it only costs us 1.50 euros, and let's continue our discovery. Let's go to the park, but not just any park, but adrenaline park, which is located in Bohinj, next to the Pod Voglom hotel. It consists of three parts: the largest part, which has a net, steel cables, logs, ropes and other obstacles that we have to overcome; in the second part, we will test our team spirit, as we will climb a 7-meter pole, throw ourselves off it, while the other members will protect us, and then, at the end, we will indulge ourselves in swinging in a giant swing and that's it our "walk" in the park. There will be trained instructors with us all the time who will take care of our safety, fear, fun and everything that goes along with it.

Exciting afternoon
Warmed up from the previous adventure, let's head back to Bled, where we will initially refresh ourselves in the wild waters of the Sava river, but then it will get hot again; when we will down its rapids. In the rubber boat, which is steered by an experienced Lifetrek guide with a steering oar, there is a team of six to eight people who help him row and get to know all the thrills of rafting. For those who would like a different experience, you can opt for, among other things canyoning, parasailing, sport climbing, or for relaxation choose fishing or hiking on the nearby peaks. All activities are organized by the Lifetrek agency, but you can also arrange for a guide with other tourist agencies, of which there is no shortage in Bled. The afternoon will definitely be full of adventures. Which ones, of course, depends on you. In any case, on the way back home, don't forget to stop at Lake Zbilj, where we can rest our tired bodies on the comfortable deckchairs in front of the Dotik bistro, order a colorful cocktail or some other refreshing drink, and observe the calm surface of the lake, where swans live. and thus concluded our current adventure.
