Adrifund, the first Slovenian crowdfunding platform, came to life. Until now, we have only reported on the foreign platforms Kickstarter and Indiegogo, where many Slovenian ideas also competed for start-up funds, but now Slovenians have got their own Kickstarter. It grew on the lawn of Matej Rauh from Lesc. He brought the idea from Iceland, where the "local" platform Karolina Fund was a great success.
Since March 30, Slovenians are richer for crowdfunding platform Adrifund. Adrifund is a project of the company of the same name and it works modeled after the Icelandic platform Carolina Fund. It's an idea Matej Rauch got on a student exchange in Iceland and later "translated" it into the Slovenian version together with Aljaž Gluhar and Danij Planinec. Her driving forces will be good local stories. At the start, seven projects were on it (as many as 25 applied, with some others are still being negotiated for cooperation), among them Carbo-Evolution butterflies, wooden butterflies Dendo Longboards and Divja, the soul of nature caught in a bottle, the Academic Choir of France Prešeren Kranj is raising money for a tour of the Spanish islands.

The Adrifund platform should not be taken with the left hand. Preparations for the performance should be no less thorough than for competing on Kickstarter, otherwise the campaign will not be successful. It will also work in a similar way to Kickstarter. An individual project will be able to collect money on the new platform, and in exchange for euros, the author will offer supporters awards. But it is true that it will the manager's approach is more personal, it will also be much easier to "get through" the application, since the help comes from the domestic and not the foreign environment. That the site has great potential is confirmed by the information that we sent Slovenians to Kickstarter and Indiegogo last year 103 projects, and campaigns are with the help of common 12,645 supporters collected almost three million euros. There were 27 successful projects and 76 unsuccessful ones. You can participate in the Slovenian crowdfunding platform anyone with an idea. It can be any kind, only ideas in support of political goals and morally and ethically controversial ideas are closed.
