Aerion and Lockheed Martin AS2: the world's first supersonic business jet

Aerion and Lockheed Martin AS2

Aerion and Lockheed Martin are collaborating on a very interesting project called AS2. Together, they will make the world's first supersonic business-luxury plane, which will transport those five-somethings who can afford it at high speed. The world will become even smaller for them, and the travel time will be significantly shorter.

AS2, the world's first supersonic business jet, will be fully developed by the companies Aerion and Lockheed Martin. They will take care of the development, engineering solutions, all the necessary permits and the production of the aircraft. With such enthusiasm, the rich will soon be able to afford even faster flights from one end of the world to the other. Director of Aerion Robert M. Bass he says that without the supersonic experience they have at Lockheed Martin, this project simply wouldn't have been possible. Indeed, Lockheed Martin is considered a successful force in the supersonic aircraft industry and has plenty of experience. Together, the two companies will surely succeed in taking the business use of aircraft to a whole new level.

Originally, the AS2 aircraft was developed in collaboration between Aerion and Airbus, and then Lockheed Martin entered the game to further refine aerodynamic elements of the aircraft and thus enabled him to reach even higher speeds. AS2 will present a revolution in the world of aviation, similar to the renaissance in the art world. Distances will thus become even shorter, and journeys will be shorter, more pleasant and much more luxurious.
