All Our Suns is a project by Michelle Chandra that uses an image pattern recognition algorithm and hashtags (#sunset and #sunrise) to allow us to admire photos of sunrises and sunsets around the world in real time.
All Our Suns is a wonderful way to observe sunsets and sunrises around the world namely through the photos that on Instagram posted by its users under #sunset and #sunrise. The author of the project Michelle Chandra has developed an algorithm that recognizes photos with the rising and setting sun and maps on the world map.

The closer the user uploads the photo to sunrise or sunset, the bigger it is point on the map. Chandrova quickly realized that people usually upload a photo of a sunset within a four-hour time frame, while the sunrise photo takes until the evening to make its way online. All Our Suns is part of an even wider project All Our Yesterdays, which shakes man's relationship to time.
