AMD has also officially launched the new Phenom II X4 and X3 processors, compatible with AM3-based motherboards. The "highest" in the family is the Phenom II X4 810 with four cores, which ticks at 2.6 GHz and has 4 MB of cache. The smaller and therefore cheaper brothers, named Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition and Phenom II X3 710, compete with binary sequences each with three cores at 2.8 GHz and 2.6 GHz, respectively. The Black Edition is perfect for all lovers overclocking, as it enables quite high windings. Prices should range between 90 and 130 euros ̶ beyond the puddle. In Europe, prices will probably be much saltier.
