The killer Jack is a true artist of his profession, but after a complicated and almost fatal operation in Sweden, he decides to retire. He accepts his last order from his employer, Larry, who takes him to the Italian countryside. While making a sniper weapon, his inner doubts are further strengthened by a friendship with an elderly priest and a romance with the lovely Clara. But when he is faced with a new danger, he must end the intrigue and take up arms again in the fight for his life.
