How confident are you in your knowledge of geography? Buzzfeed recently put Americans to the test. Participants in the research were asked to map of Europe write the names of European countries. To put it mildly, they did not do well. But their answers are so much more fun. But the Americans should not be judged too harshly, because, on the other hand, the British knowledge of the fifty American states also turned out to be extremely poor.
However, the mentioned survey, in addition to ignorance of geography, reveals that Americans also know almost nothing about history and current politics. It seems that their biggest puzzle is the members of the former Soviet Union and the Balkan Peninsula.
