You must have always dreamed of having a room with a unique view of the Alps. But we doubt that they ever had in mind such a room as the one offered by the Swiss hotel Null Stern, located in Switzerland in the canton of Graubünden at an altitude of 1,970 meters above sea level, where you will not be greeted by a complex, as you might expect, but simply a double bed under a mild sky, surrounded by picturesque Swiss four-thousanders. And the butler, of course! The first incarnation of the Null Stern concept hotel (in translation, it means a hotel with zero stars, the brothers Frank and Patrik Riklin, who are behind these hotels, say that the only star of the hotel is the guest) was a nuclear bunker without windows and the comforts that opened in 2008 and recently came to life in a new location.
Hotel Null Stern it is concept hotel, which was initially a bunker without windows and comfort, but now has endless stars and a view in all directions. He almost moved from underground 2000 meters high, under a gentle sky in the embrace of the Swiss Alps. So don't expect a building on the location, because the Null Stern Hotel is a hotel without walls and roof, which only has two mattresses (not even a double bed), two nightstands, two table lamps and two stokerls (four-legged chairs without backrests).
Nearest (public) the toilet is a 10-minute walk away, but that's why no other hotel has such a magical view of nature and personal butler with gloves and a bowtie serving guests breakfast (sandwich with dry salami), coffee, Röteli liqueur (a local specialty) and at the beginning he welcomes you. The purpose of the outdoor hotel remains the same as the purpose of the hotel in the bunker – to place the guest at the epicenter of the experience and to make the intangible tangible by reducing "disturbing elements" to a minimum.
