The Power of Words initiative will find its place in the center of Ljubljana with the street party Itak Urban Art, and then it will spread throughout Slovenia. Entry to the street party Moč besed, which will be held on Thursday, October 2, between 1 and 9 p.m. in front of the Zlata Ladjica pub on the Ljubljanica river, is free.
It will be with the help of the established Slovenian street artists created a unique painting in 30 square meters in size, which will encourage passers-by to better quality peer-to-peer communication and emphasize the importance of tolerant dialogue and a culture of online communication. So far, the Power of Words initiative has been launched on the social network Facebook already joined more than 7,000 supporters, more than 20 partner non-governmental student organizations and over 30 media-recognizable supporters. The initiative was launched by Itak and the Association of Friends of the Youth of Slovenia.
