The Finnish orchestral rock band is returning to Ljubljana again. This time, they will perform in a club setting at Cvetličarna. The band, which has been active since the early 1990s, has used classical music to introduce the metal music genre to those who usually don't listen to this type of music. A cellist with a university degree Eicca Toppinen During his school years, he got the idea to try playing Metallica's hits on the cello. He gathered his classmates who shared his enthusiasm and passion for metal music, and the phenomenon of Apocalyptica was born, which has been offering the world a unique blend of classical and metal music for almost twenty years. They also managed to convince metal music fans that they were up to the task they set themselves. In a few years of musical exploration, they tackled different musical styles. From fast, melodic riffs all the way to slower rhythms. With their seventh album, which they symbolically named 7th Symphony, have concluded their almost two decades of musical creation. With their musical product, they have particularly impressed metal fans, as the album is a bit harder and more interesting than the previous ones. They have resorted to the already proven recipe of a mixture of classical music and metal and simply impressed. In addition to six symphonic songs, the album contains four songs with vocals. Among them is a song they recorded together with Gavin Rossdale, the leader of the band Bush.
