The Snapchat app now offers animated selfies!

So many new things that we don't even know where to start. Snapchat is its own equipped the latest version with many new functions and unfortunately we don't have time to present them all, so we will highlight all the ones that stand out. Just when we thought selfies couldn't get any dumber, Snapchat strikes with animated selfies, which are hidden under the plugin "Lenses". It is a novelty that allows you to face in the photo/video, which you record with the phone's front camera, add a bunch of special effects. You activate the feature by hovering your finger over your face on the screen and a list of options will appear the next moment. Follow the instructions and Snapchat will be you in real time turned into a monster, aged, drew hearts in your eyes, made you vomit rainbows (Lady Gaga would be proud), etc.

As said, the effects are not limited to photos, but you can also record a video with the same effects. They are currently available seven, and Snapchat claims that they will with time added new ones.

Snapchat will, according to the new users awarded trophies ("Trophies") for their "special merits", i.e. for their activity on the application. The more active you are, the higher your rank will be. As you know it is a feature of Snapchat transience of the sent material. But if you subtract them from the new one 99 US cents ("Replay" is Snapchat's first foray into the world of in-app purchases after all), you get it three repetitions, three photo/video replays of your choice, which is an upgrade of the previous policy that allowed one repetition per day. Now the friends will have one more chance to do so screenshot capture, so the advice from the past remains. If you don't want parents/teachers/the whole school to see embarrassing videos, don't upload them online. And that includes Snapchat.
