How far does the imagination reach when, among archaeological objects, we revive the story of the family of the Bearded Soma, which Janez Jalen weaved in the famous novel Beavers? In the workshop, in the role of Copper Age pile drivers from the tribes of Somov and Turov, we will escape to the time when the Ljubljana Marshes were still covered by water. We will help the sharp-horned deer and Lake Rose to build a new stake, and we will also look for the dagger that Neokretna Carp lost six thousand years ago. At the same time, we will discover deposits of copper ore, trade in protective talismans, travel through the flooded Ljubljana Marshes, try our hand at weaving, sell beaver fur and learn how to determine the age of a thicket!
The workshop is suitable for children from the age of 7. Duration: 120 minutes. The price is 3.5 euros.
The children take home the products made in the workshops. Participation is limited. Tickets can also be purchased in advance. If a child under the age of 7 wants to participate in the workshop, they must be accompanied by an adult during the workshop. The accompanying person is also obliged to settle the ticket.
