Archer Ana Umer: You have to persevere and follow your dreams

With the Olympic Festival, which took place at the Congress Square at the end of September, the capital was flooded with the Olympic spirit. The Coca-Cola team also took part in the event under the auspices of their own initiative #vednopodpiraj and discussed their attitude to sports with young athletes. Among them was the two-time European champion in Polish archery, Ana Umer, who is convinced that support is the most important part of the sport.

The Olympic festival, which shed light on the positive impact of sports participation on life, was organized by the Olympic Committee of Slovenia - Association of Sports Federations within the framework of the European Week of Sports with the motto "Be active". Many sports disciplines were presented at the event. Among these was archery, in which the 27-year-old Koprčanka found pleasure and success Ana Umer: "If an athlete enjoys support, he has an open door to top sport. My biggest supporters are my family, coach and team, as well as friends who are very understanding of my obligations. All of them are a great support for me and give us strength to progress as athletes," explains Ana, adding as an encouragement especially to young people: "You have to persevere and follow your dreams." And what is Ana's dream? Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
