The Ares Design Project Panther is a completely new concept inspired by the exotic De Tomaso Pantera of the 1970s. Newly founded company Ares Design is based in Modena and the proud owner is former Lotus boss Dany Bahar.
Under retro design of Project Panther is actually hiding Lamborghini Huracan. So it has a center mounted one 5.2 liter V 10 cylinder engine, four-wheel drive and 7-speed automatic transmission with double clutch. There is no information about the power of the Panther yet, but judging by the Huracan, it will have 602 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque. Project Panther, a modern interpretation De Tomas, will be produced in the new premises of the factory in Modena. There is currently no information on the number of cars they plan to produce, nor on their price. One thing is for sure, the price will definitely be higher than the current price of the Lamborghini Huracan. First owners will get their Panthers in the second half of 2018, and some orders have already been collected. Until then, they still have some work to do to finalize the design and aerodynamics, and they also have to do test crashes.
But that's not all. Ares Design also has other projects in mind that they plan to tackle in the next 12 months. Among other things, they will undertake processing Betley's two-door coupe Mulsanne and Mercedes-Benz G-Class, in which the images are already available and we present them to you in the gallery.
