Pred več kot 2000 leti je rimska vojska iz osrčja Italije začela svoj osvajalni pohod. Zaustavila se je na severu Britanije, v gozdovih Germanije, na bregovih Evfrata in v puščavi severne Afrike. Imperij, ki so ga osvojili z mečem, so branili z mogočnim obzidjem, imenovanim limes, katerega veličastni ostanki še danes kljubujejo času.
Kaj je bila skrivnost njihovega uspeha – oborožitev ali organizacija? Kako so legije osvojile nešteta mesta in porazila mnoga ljudstva? Zakaj je propadel eden največjih imperijev v zgodovini človeštva in kaj je ostalo po njem v Sloveniji in Evropi? Spoznali bomo oborožitev rimske vojske, način bojevanja, pomen slovenskega prostora v rimskem času in se tudi sami podali na kratek vojaški pohod!
Program je bil financiran iz projekta Evropske zveze “Meje rimskega imperija”, sklop Kultura 2000.

Delavnica je primerna za otroke od 6. leta dalje. Trajanje: 120 min. Cena: 3,5 evrov.

The children take home the products made in the workshops. Participation is limited. Tickets can also be purchased in advance. If a child under the age of 6 wants to participate in the workshop, they must be accompanied by an adult during the workshop. The accompanying person is also obliged to settle the ticket.
