Ariel Cruiser: a retro motorcycle that looks to the future and the past at the same time

At first glance, we can say hats off and kudos to the Arizona company Local Motors for this brilliant and imaginative idea. The whole thing was somehow cooked up by the Internet, as it is credited both for the idea and the concept as well as for collecting the necessary funds through the platforms intended for this purpose.

The first part involved finding the idea for a motorcycle that he was most successful at Romanian designer Ianis Vasilatos. The second part of the campaign was based on collecting the necessary funds to build this special engine. In this way, the company also involved in its product internet public, thereby showing a slightly different approach to creating new products.

The appearance of the motorcycle is like this retro, to be even more retro. The designer drew his inspiration from the motorcycles of the year 1920. It's really hard to define whether it's a motorcycle or just a slightly more 'polished' bike, but nothing for that, because it looks straight fantastic. You can see a lot of details on the motorcycle that take us back to 20s of the 19th century. They certainly add the finishing touch leather straps, which fasten the fuel tank to the engine frame.

Ariel Cruiser is in classic gasoline and modern electric versions. There is enough electricity to go around 30 kilometers driving, and the maximum possible speed is 45 km/h. It drives the petrol version Honda's 50cc a large aggregate that reaches 55 km/h, and with one tank it allows driving up to 110 kilometers far away. In any case, this retro is not that cheap, for a motorcycle you have to pay around 3,400 euros.
