Little-known but interesting cinematography will be presented mainly through creators of Armenian descent who create outside the mentioned Caucasian country. Artavazd Pelešjan's opus of short and medium-length documentaries is considered a cinematic treat. We will get to know the eternal renegade, poet and artist Sergej Paradzhanov through two films: Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors and Sajat Nova - Garnet Color. Contemporary Armenian film is mainly represented by Atom Egoyan and Robert Guédiguian, who live in Canada or France.
