Art should never be defined or explained. It should belong to everyday life. It is a ticket to an endless childhood. Always in the making and never complete. At least a little strange and surprising. Beautiful in all forms of imperfection. Creativity can always exist without art. Art never exists without creativity.
About the author:
Miroslav Erjavec he is a professor of fine arts... Most of his artistic creation comes from the place where he experiments and learns, creates and expresses himself with the help of basic artistic expressions. Together with your students.
"Kliko" entrusted him with his first projects. Madness was his first exhibition space. A space full of ideas and skater energy. Designs drawings for stickers, flyers, posters, t-shirts and cartoons. Ceu party. He also designed some flyers for the club K4 under the patronage of hiphop guru "Jizah", covers for mixtapes by gudold dj Supastar and myWife she dj Ninjo, drew the logo for Nakupovanje.net and Casino Izola. Author of two book covers at FDV, invented the sign for the Cestni psi motorcycle club, revived the logo for Stone of mine... Had two independent painting exhibitions. The first in the Dubob bar in Ljubljana, the second in Jedro, the Medvode youth center.
It tackles all art disciplines, and is defined and fulfilled by graphic design. The current project is called SOULLESS in collaboration with HoneyRibCage construction and GoldenRuster productions. In addition, there are StolenHeart group, Weat Bloody Palmas, GreeenBaseMusic and Privat Primat. Projects are waiting for the right moment. Blind to prejudice and deaf to criticism, he works on...with love.
Biennial of Slovenian independent illustration will once again host more than 25 artists and art collectives who create on the borders of different practices. In addition to the overview exhibition, which will include the works of all participating authors, five independent author projects will be on display at various locations around Ljubljana. Kino Šiška will also host five accompanying events, the focus of which this year is on connecting the Independent Biennale with the Finnish Aalto University from Hlesinki.
