The gastronomic harbingers of spring in the Karst – asparagus – are not only popular for their taste, as they are considered an almost unbeatable source of health. The people of Brštov therefore pay them a special honor with the asparagus festival, which takes place as part of the Asparagus Month festival in the Karst. The event includes the presentation and tasting of more than 30 different dishes made from wild Karst asparagus. Special offer: frtalje made of asparagus, eggs and Karst pancetta, as well as Budstov wines, terano and sage liqueur.
