Aston Martin has unveiled its flagship, which combines the best of a sports car with the best of a grand tourer. The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera will replace the Vanquish S, and the new DBS is a car that will deliver an unforgettable driving experience and best-in-class acceleration.
Aston Martin DBS Superleggera reintroduces the DBS and Superleggera names. The car is based on a revolutionary aluminum structure, which we have already seen with the model DB11. As standard, it has already built-in adaptive suspension and the option of choosing three driving modes. We will find under the hood of the latest DBS 5.2 liter V 12 cylinder with twin turbine, 715 horsepower and 900 newton meters of torque. The engine is mounted as low as possible and towards the rear of the car, so that the weight distribution is as close as possible ideal center of gravity.
The Superleggera has the drive transmitted to the rear wheel pair via 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. A mechanical differential lock and torque vectoring system provide precise steering and explosive acceleration. Aston Martin claims that they have found a combination that brings the best of both worlds of motoring, the sporty and the more casual GT-world. The new Aston Martin only needs 0 to 100 km/h 3.4 seconds and reaches the electronically limited 340 km/h.
It is standard equipment on the DBS Superleggera extremely rich, among which you will find leather upholstery, keyless entry and start, tire pressure monitoring and a 360° parking camera. There will also be the latest infotainment system with Bluetooth navigation and smartphone support. The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera thus not only revives recognized names, but at the same time indicates the return Aston Martin in the GT class.
