Architecture firm Lumo Arkitekter has built a series of asymmetrical cabins along the Danish coast, which are some of the most interesting modern retreats we've ever seen.
Along the Danish coast stretches a group of islands known for their unspoiled nature, offering visitors the perfect opportunity to escape from the urban environment. Escape from the cities will be even more pleasant from now on, because they are Danish architects Lumo Aan architect on the coasts of the islands Skarø, Drejø, Birkholm and Ærø set up a series of modern shelters.
Wooden asymmetric shelters scattered across 19 exceptional locations, otherwise black pigmented with tar oil and with randomly scattered openings offering fantastic views of the surrounding nature and the star-studded night sky, they promise real holiday heaven.
Interesting shelters vary in size and shape, but all share asymmetrical lines and modernity the aesthetics of traditional Danish fishing huts. The cottages can accommodate two, three to five and six to seven people and promise a different experience of living in nature.
