Music festivals often turn out to be unique experiences. However, they also have a downside. Their visitors leave behind huge amounts of garbage. This problem could soon become a thing of the past...
Dutch designer Wout Kommer and Jan Porthein have patented KarTent, which is considered a very special tent. The environmentally friendly residence is made of 100% recycled cardboard. At the same time, it is also very convenient, as it is easy to use throw in the trash.
KarTent is designed for two festival visitors. Its floor area is 3.3 square meters. A window is built into it, which is intended to ventilate the room. According to the manufacturers, the tent will remain dry even in the event of rain. It will withstand harsh weather conditions in a shorter period of time, similarly to a normal tent. That is why it can be characterized as the perfect choice for a few-day festival.
The Dutch company already cooperates with the organizers of some festivals. At the location of the event, she sets up her tents in advance, which visitors can buy from her. The price of the smaller KarTent is 34.95 euros, while the larger version will have to be deducted 49.95 euros.
