This year's Overjam Reggae Festival will impress with a sounding name known to fans of both reggae and pop music for the hits Boombastic, Angel and It wasn't me. In addition to Shaggy, who is coming to Slovenia for the first time, Tolmin will also be rocked by Chronixx, Dub Inc, The Skints, Zion Train, Macka B, Luciano and Train To Roots.
Shaggy, real name Orville Richard Burrell, born in Jamaica and living in the USA, is a star who needs no special introduction. The musician is an artist of mixing musical genres who, after releasing 11 albums in ten years, returned to his Jamaican roots and purely Jamaican reggae music in 2013 with his last album. The Grammy winner and multiple nominee and recipient of various music awards is coming to Tolmin in August, where he will crown the already stellar line-up of this year's Overjam Reggae Festival.
In addition to Shaggy, Chronixx, Dub Inc, The Skints, Zion Train, Macka B, Luciano and Train To Roots will rock the Tolmin main stage. In the dancehall arena so far confirmed Herb-A-Lize It Soundsystem, DJ Rakka and Supersonic Sound.
