Audi has been introducing its E-Tron to us little by little since September 2015, when its concept was first presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Even three years later, we don't know much about what the final shape of its exterior will be, but we can imagine what its interior will be like.
Although in Audi's eye E-Tron still a prototype, they presented its interior to the world. This should remain the same and should not differ from the one that will eventually be in the production car. Audi took an additional step towards the interior digital-virtual world and got rid of side mirrors. We now have them available instead virtual mirrors, which are installed in the upper corner of the door. The camera is placed where the side mirrors used to be.
7-inch The two OLED screens are placed under the glass and have some advantages over conventional side mirrors. The driver will be enabled zooming in and out pictures, but there will also be a choice three preset programs that will help with parking, turning and highway driving. Of course, it goes without saying that virtual mirrors will already have built-in recognition and remediation systems blind spots.
The two OLED screens have increased the total number of screens inside the Audi E-Tron to 5, as they are accompanied by a digital screen with gauges for the driver, an info-telematics system on the central console and a touch-sensitive screen placed below the info-telematics, which is used to control the air conditioning. Audi E-Tron takes care of the drive two electric motors with joint power 355 horsepower, but if we switch to sporty driving mode, we will have available for a short time 402 horsepower. With a capacity battery 95 kWh we will be able to drive to 400 kilometers a long distance, and with fast charging we will be able to charge it in just 30 minutes. Audi hasn't shown all of the E-Tron's strengths yet, but what we've managed to see so far has definitely impressed us.
