For next year, Audi is preparing a new generation of the largest SUV of the Q model family, which will surpass the first generation version both in terms of dimensions, technology and, thanks to a 325 kg lower weight, also in terms of economy and performance. Seven seats, quattro drive and S-tronic automatic will always be part of the standard equipment of the Audi Q7.
The front part of the vehicle has a characteristic angular appearance similar to that of a still very fresh vehicle to TT, with which it has the main point of contact Audi Q7 in the form of new ones matrix LED lamps and imposing motorcycle masks. This motif will soon become a recognizable sign of all modern models with four circles on the hood, and the Audi Q7 in the second edition is less massive than its predecessor, and at the same time it also circulates the air around the body much better.
Fewer changes follow in the sequel, where the side of the vehicle is similar to that of the first generation model, and the same applies to the dimensions, although with 5.05 meters long slightly shorter than the original. The rear part again brings more innovations, which are concentrated around the modern pointed LED lights, which are now more rectangular in shape.
Even bigger changes are seen in the passenger cabin, which is modern and in places (almost) minimalistic in the style mentioned in the introduction of the TT. With the latter, the designers borrowed a digital instrument panel with a huge 12.3-inch TFT screen, while a free-standing screen atop the center console pampers passengers with 7- and 8.3-inch diameters, respectively. The air vents are interesting, reminiscent of those in the new generation of the Passat, and the climate control switches with two shutters inside the switch are again reminiscent of those of the TT.
The new Q7 will also offer space for seven people, for whom the space will be luxuriously proportioned, and those seated in the third row will also have an above-average amount of space. In this way, he will be able to satisfy the spatial needs of a larger family, which he will have at his disposal from 295 to as much as 2,075 liters luggage compartment. Besides, they will tailgate electrically movable, and to open it, it will be enough for the owner to be under the bumper moved his foot.
